This is a discussion on fix for the name cannot be resolved. the bookmark is not valid. within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; This is what was in my event log for my exchange server and it would not allow any boxes to connect to it.Could not read the root entry on directory 'inbox-dc.inbox360.local'. Cannot access configuration information. So i read something where to restart both of my dc's and i was able to connect to my mailboxes. the bookmark was not valid when i was in outllok trying to connect to an exchange server when clicking "check name". hope this helps and also you might wanna apply this fix. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898060/...
