XPPro - -> SBS2K offline files

This is a discussion on XPPro - -> SBS2K offline files within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; I have a windows XPPRO laptop that connects to an AD domain on a SBS2000 server. While connected to the domain...all is perfect. but when the laptop is OFFLINE from the server, some of the offline files do not open correctly. In particular, a MS PPT with embedded AVI files does not display the AVI and displays an error message saying it cannot find the AVI file. The AVI's are present in the offline folder and can be seen, oddly though the associated launch program does not display for the AVI's when offline. Any thoughts???? TIA RickD...

Any thoughts????

Wrong group? This doesn't sound like an Exchange 2000 server issue.
