Exchange 2007 routing group info

This is a discussion on Exchange 2007 routing group info within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; When brought up our Exchange 2007 server in our Exchange 2003 site the two server would not exchange messages. A routing connector was created at install of Exchange 2007. Viewing the message ques on the 2007 server showed an authentication error. Some other reading suggested to delete and recreate the routing connector. Tried that and it didn't help. Found another post that suggested looking at the SMTP virtual server access settings for authentication. I enabled MS integrated authentication and the two servers could then exchanges messages.
