Default GAL Synchronization

Hi,

I have this issue with the GAL on Exchnage Server 2003.

This is my environment.

On my test lab I have two environtments, AD2000 and AD2003.
On AD2000 I have,
* A Forest Root Domain with 2 Windows 2000 Adv Server DCs
* A Child Domain with 2 Windows 2000 Adv Server DCs, on this Child I have
Exchange 2000 Server installed with an Exchange Organization named EXC2KORG

On AD2003 I have,
* A Forest Root Domain with 2 Windows 2003 Ent Server DCs
* A Child Domain with 2 Windows 2003 Ent Server DCs, on this Child I have
Exchange Server 2003 installed with an Exchange Organization named ORGEXC2K3

I migrated the mailboxes from Exchange 2000 Organization (EXC2KORG) to the
new Exchange 2003 Organization (ORGEXC2K3) using ExMerge, the merge was
succesful.

On my AD2003 environment I configure the migarted users and mailboxes to use
as SMTP Server the new Exchange 2003 and as POP3 the old Exchange 2000, this
is working well.

The migrated user to Exchange 2003 cannot see the GAL of Exchange 2000.
My Issue is how can I get the GAL of Exchange2000?

I saw this site http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb123590.aspx and
its the only way to use MIIS 2003?

I will appreciate your support on this issue

Regards.

Manuel

Hi,

Microsoft have a free tool (IIFP) that can be used to sync the GAL's.
