Sharing calender in a public folder

This is a discussion on Sharing calender in a public folder within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; You'll never (at least in the versions to date) get a reminder for appointments in public folders. When you create the new item, remove the prompt for a reminder and you won't see the error. Or create the appointment on your own calendar (with a reminder) and copy it (Ctrl-C) and paste it (Ctrl-V) to the shared calendar. You'll still get the error message but at least you'll get a reminder. Default Sharing calender in a public folder

You'll never (at least in the versions to date) get a
reminder for appointments in public folders. When you
create the new item, remove the prompt for a reminder and
you won't see the error. Or create the appointment on
your own calendar (with a reminder) and copy it (Ctrl-C)
and paste it (Ctrl-V) to the shared calendar. You'll
still get the error message but at least you'll get a
reminder.
