Workflow Designer directory Synch failing

Default Workflow Designer directory Synch failing

I have a couple of applications using solutions developed with the "Workflow
Designer for SQL Server" (a feature of the Office 2000 Developer Edition).

The Team Solutions Manager User Information directory synchronization option
has recently started failing. When I check the Edit User option to get the
mailbox dialog, I get:

Error: Provider(80040E37): Table does not exist.

Error reading mailbox information. Some possible causes include a lost
connection with the Exchange Server directory, permissions problems, or an
invalid version of ADSI. Verify that the Exchange Server directory service
is running and that you have permission to perform LDAP queries. Also
verify that ADSI is installed correctly on your computer. If you continue
to have problems, contact your server administrator.

I could check that the Exchange Server specified does exist, I can do "Find
People" queries, the global address book dialog is accessible from within
Outlook.

The server admins are in the throes of a migration to Exchange 2K from 5.5

Are there any other means by which I can verify (from the machine hosting
the SQL server DB) what exactly is wrong?

Sriram
