| I have this problem with a user who is only one of two users who have Outlook 2003. All others are using Outlook 2002 with no problem. We have a Windows 2003 Server and Exchange Server 2003. Outlook 2003 appears to be using both the POP3 and Exchange account to send massages. Since we have our server behind a private firewall and there is another server at our web host with the same email addreses, the users are getting duplicate emails. Not sure how to solve the problem yet but I will figure it out. >-----Original Message----- >I've got clients sending messages once, but the recipient >recieves two copies. | I also am having this same problem But we are using outlook 2000 and exchange 2000. I have outlook set up with both and exchange email account and an external email account. When sending an email to both an external recipient email account and a local email account, the external recipient receives duplicate emails from me. Outlook 2000 sends the message to the exchange 2000 server, which sends the email to the external recipient, plus it sends the email to the external email account which in return deliveries the email to the external recipient email account as well. If I send an email to just a external recipient they receive only one email. Can anyone help? >-----Original Message----- >I have this problem with a user who is only one of two >users who have Outlook 2003. All others are using Outlook >2002 with no problem. | It has to do with one or two things: do they have google desktop? is the antivirus if any running and up to date? If google desktop... the best thing to do is uninstall there is something on there that you can change / disable... but for some reason it keeps resetting and it happens all over again If antivirus.... make sure it's up to date (not expired) and that it doesn't check outgoing email. then you should be fine. ![]() ![]() |
