Hi,
I have an agent dll installed on an Exchange 2000 server that
interacts with the exchange event service. Permissions for the
EventConfig_SERVERNAME folder
are set properly (every necessary user has granted Owner rights).
Using a MS Outlook 2000 client, everything works fine. You can see the
agent tab in the properties dialog of the e.g. inbox with the right
settings.
BUT using a MS Outlook 2003 client, I only in a very few cases see the
agents tab (maybe, because I experimented with making the EventConfig
folder visible for Exchange contact lists) but even then, Outlook pops
up an error message saying that one or more agents were skipped
because they made problems (don't have the exact message in mind and
are currently not possible to reproduce this message).
The Exchange Server is a German edition on a Windows 2000 Server
German Service Pack 4.
The Outlook 2003 client is an English edition on a Windows 2000 Server
English Service Pack 4.
Do anyone has any idea what is going wrong or what else I can do to
get that thing running??
Thanx in advance,
Christian
