We've upgraded servers to Exchange 2003 but seem to be having an intermittent
problem when we set up email.

We get prompted with an additional box during creation asking to "Associate
a user account from an external trusted domain to be the owner of this
mailbox".

There is a browse feature which lets us browse the domain and associate an
account. The problem is, it does not happen with every new account we create
and it's not restricted to one OU. For some new accounts we're prompted and
for others we're not and it creates the mailbox. When prompted with the box,
there is no way to create the mailbox without first associating an account.

Any help would be appreciated.
