Exchange 2003 active active SMTP failover glitch
We have Exchange 2003 in a 2-node active-active config (for now ... will be
adding one more active + passive later). Everything is working fine except
for one small glitch. If both virtual servers are on the same node and we
move one of them back to the other node, the smtp virtual server on the
virtual server not being moved goes down for a second and then comes back
up. It does this everytime both virtual servers are together and one
leaves. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal behavior. This happens so that the store-driver can
reregister its outbound interface on the node (in case the EVS that moved
was the one that had previously been selected for this task).
