| Hi all, I can not bring cluster up as MSDTC is offline and no owner is on it. Can I just delete it and recreate it? Thanks. |

| Thank you for your response. Now, I found out that it is not MSDTC resources. We have exchange 2000 active/active two nodes. If I shut down the node2, the cluster service can be started. But, the cluster service can not be started on node2. I am going to remove the exchange virutal server2 from the cluster and make it active/passive. Do you know how to do it since no mailboxes are on exchange virtual server 2? Only around 30 users are on one mailbox store of exchange 2000 virtual sever as I migrate most users to exchange 2003 cluster. Can you advise what's the best way to do it? I am quite out of mind now. | If EVS2 is empty use the Cluster Administrator to remove the EVS. Cheers, Rodney R. | Now, we have only one virtual server now. I still can not mount the databases as I can see the relay logs onfo from the event viewer on node1. I evict the node2 too. When I try to mount the store, I got event 9175 MSExchangeSA in the application log and then I can see some exchange virtual server resources online pending. I very very appreciate your help as these users can not access exchange server now. Any advice? "Rodney R. | What support?????? I didnt see any links to any good info he could read on or anything. Just short anwsers. To the guy that decided to completely disable his Exchange environment off the simple advice of a Google group, that was insane. You must do research. The Google Groups as well as the Technet discussion groups are not something to rely on 100%. You need to do research and doublecheck everything. Sometimes you are lucky if you even get a reponse. |
