exchange2003 ADC public folders not shown
Hi all,
My public folder connections agreemnts are not populating anything to the
AD....do yuo think is a must to have the Exchange55 public folder not to be
set to "hide from address book"
for sure logging to this adc is set to maximum and no errors/warnings on the
event viewer
What is needed to represent the exchange55 public folders in a windows2003
native mode ad.
thx

Re: exchange2003 ADC public folders not shown
Hi,
if the Enterprise RUS doesn't stamp the Exchange 2003 server public
information store object in the AD with the appropriate smtp proxy address,
Public Folder hierarchy replication will not happen. Reason can be an
invalid or missing proxy generator (maybe something like a fax.dll) ,
defined in Exchange 5.5.
Without an smtp address of the public information store the smtp based
replication cannot occur.

PS: it's not necessary tot change the "hidden" atribute of your public
folders
