Re: Public Folder/System Folder Question
Hi msadexchman,
All public folder stores in the organization know where all public folders
in the organization are located. If you go to access a public folder on a
server where the folder is not located that server will refer you to the
server that has a copy of the information. This is true for public folders,
and system folders.
So long and short you can point the end users to any server and they should
be able to access and public folder in the org.
Hope this Helps,

Public Folder/System Folder Question
Hello,
Is it possible to have two dedicated servers home the System Folders (free
busy, forms, oab) and then have two different servers home all the other
public folders (i.e. users data)? I'm curious because within the properties
of every mailbox store, we define the "Default Public Store" as being one of
those two servers we have for the "public folders - users data". I guess my
question is, when a user has a mailbox on that store and wants to look at
free busy information, will they be able to since the "Default Public Store"
we defined on the MB Store properties DOES NOT have a copy of the system
folders?
Thanks
