exchange Wins settings

This is a discussion on exchange Wins settings within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; Hi there, I have an exchange server located logically on an NT4 domain with other servers but residing physically on another subnet/LAN with all the workstations, the Outlook clients. Workstations are on a separate NT4 domains and have full trusts with server domain. What will be the Wins server settings order in Exchange server TCPIP settings and how many should I set up? Like Wins_server_domain_IP first next Wins_workstation_domain_IP or viceversa? Thanks, Calin...

Just use the single WINS server in the fields using the closest WINS
server. If there is another WINS server you can enter that but don't
unless you have some good bandwidth between the Exchange and remote
WINS box.
