Cant send emails from OWA

This is a discussion on Cant send emails from OWA within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; I am trying to send mail using Outlook web access on a Windows Vista laptop. We have exchange 2000 on our servers and Internet Explorer 7 on the laptop. The problem I'm having is that when we create a new message or try to reply to a message, the body of the email is inaccessible. It has a little red x in the corner and we can't click in there to write our message. Somebody mentioned that it was because the S/MIME was not downloading. If that is the case, how would I remedy that? Has anybody come across this ...

Default Cant send emails from OWA

I am trying to send mail using Outlook web access on a Windows Vista laptop.
We have exchange 2000 on our servers and Internet Explorer 7 on the laptop.

The problem I'm having is that when we create a new message or try to reply
to a message, the body of the email is inaccessible. It has a little red x
in the corner and we can't click in there to write our message.

Somebody mentioned that it was because the S/MIME was not downloading. If
that is the case, how would I remedy that?

Has anybody come across this before?

Thanks,
Jasper
