Exchange 2000 internal email is slow. - Microsoft Exchange

After turning on the transport logging and setting the
reg entry to 7, I did not get any error messages. Just
information and security logons. So I went directly to
the pre-submission queue in the Exchange System
Management under the server name, protocols, SMTP,
default..., and queue's. I then right clicked and did a
force connection which immediately cleared my queue and
all internal email was back to normal delivery times.
