One user two exchange accounts

This is a discussion on One user two exchange accounts within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; Hi. How can I create two exchange accounts for the same user. The objective is this user send email when need by one or other. Example : send like "x1 @ abc.com" or like "x9 @ abc.com". I tried the send on behalf but i need to create two users and when the destination contact receive that email in from appears like "x1" on behalf "x9". For receive I create smtp email address for two accounts and works fine. Sorry, my bad english. Thanks. Regards....

Hi.
How can I create two exchange accounts for the same user.
The objective is this user send email when need by one or other.
Example : send like "x1@abc.com" or like "x9@abc.com".
I tried the send on behalf but i need to create two users and when the
destination contact receive that email in from appears like "x1" on behalf
"x9".
For receive I create smtp email address for two accounts and works fine.

Hi,

You need to have 2 accounts - one acccount per mailbox.

If you give the first account send as permissions on the second account your
goal should be accomplished.

Thanks Leif, but I dont understand what you mean.
I understand that you say that I have to create two user accounts, then I
have to use the option send on behalf ??
I appreciate if possible that you post the steps that I need, and, once more

I didn't write send on behalf, I wrote "send as" which is quite different.
