Unable to send/receive email after installing Windows POP3 mail se

This is a discussion on Unable to send/receive email after installing Windows POP3 mail se within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; Exchange 2003 SP2 server is now unable to send or receive any email (internal or external). User installed Windows POP3 mail service instead of Exchange POP3 mail service. I am unable to remove the Windows Email service because the checkbox is cleared already. The POP3 service is not running but does show-up in Exchange. Seems to be corrupt or partially installed. Reboot did not help. Anyone know how to fix this without a reinstall of Exchnage?...

I have the same problem. Does anyone know how to reinstall/re-configure
Microsoft Exchange POP3 service? Many thanks.
