Default Exchange 2007 - OAB issue - 0x8004010F

Hello,

My workstation can't sync with the exchange 2007 server. I'm getting
0x8004010F the operation failed, the object cannot be found.

On the server I see this in the event viewer - ID 9325 from the SA
OALGen will skip user entry 'Schedule+ Free Busy Information - Exchange
Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)' in address list '\Global Address
List' because the SMTP address
'Schedule+_Free_Busy_Information_-_Exchange_Administrative_Group_@mycompanydomain.co m'
is invalid.
- Default_Offline_Address_Book

I set the oal generator to high - no additional information is showing.

Where should I look for this address -
'Schedule+_Free_Busy_Information_-_Exchange_Administrative_Group_@mycompanydomain.co m'
if it were to even exist?

Where is the Exchange administrative group in exchange 2007?

Thanks in advance

Hi! Boe,

I had the same issue and I did the following.......lets hope it helps you
too.

In Exchange Management Console --- go to -- Server Configuration

Select Mailbox - Database Management

Select First Storage Group -- Right click Mailbox database and select
properties

Select "Client Settings" tab

Under Offline Address Book - browse and select the "Default offline address
book"

This should stop the error you have been experiencing.

Regards

Harry

Turns out a very helpful DNS MVP from MS helped me figure it out - it needed
a SRV entry for autodiscover because I have more than one e-mail domain.
