| I accidentally deleted a public folder that would receive all of the emails to our organization. When I restored it using the "Recover Deleted Items" tool in Exchange Server from SBS 2003 Premium Edition the folder name was suffixed by "Recovered". I renamed it and thought all was well until I realized it was no longer receiving emails. I did a system state restore but the emails now go to my administrator account instead of the public folder. The distribution group is still there and I don't know how to re-connect the two. Anyone can help? |

| It's the First Administrative Group.. Uh..When I check distribution Groups under server management it's blank. I'm a noob so I don't know how to check the smtp address of the public folder. When I right click it for properties, I get a message first: The mail proxy for this folder can not be found. this may be due to replication delays. the mail enabled pages will not be shown. ID no: c1038a21 Exchange System Manager After clicking "ok" then I am in the Properties but I see nowhere to check for smtp addresses. Now, when I check security groups, then I see the group I created. Its members contains the public folder and the active directory folder is: the domain/Microsoft Exchange System Objects. Does that information help you at all? |

| I still don't know where the DL comes into play...however, it sounds like the folder is no longer mail-enabled...can you mail-enable it again, and see what happens? -- Susan Conkey [MVP] "tqc4869" <tqc4869@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:BB167FA8-2B12-43D9-8094-E3EDF0DFC73D@microsoft.com... > It's the First Administrative Group.. > > Uh..When I check distribution Groups under server management it's blank. > > I'm a noob so I don't know how to check the smtp address of the public > folder.
