| Hi, I have a small issue with a user account. This user got a divorce a number of years ago and they changed her account in AD to reflect her maiden name. Only problem is that when we look her up in Outlook 2003 we still see her married name appended to her user name. I've been doing some digging and posted a message in the Outlook group and it directed me to the legacyExchangeDN property. The response I received from the Outlook group was to either simply delete her account and start over or to edit the account with adsiedit. But I was warned about editing with adsiedit that it could "cause more problems than it's worth if all necessary steps are not taken." So I'm wondering, is it really that tricky? I've been looking at adsiedit and it looks pretty straight forward to me. In brief, what are the problems I could run into with this utility and how likely are they to happen? I would like to remove this little annoyance however I don't want to crash my Exchange server in the process. Thanks in advance, Linn |
