Rules are failing from a missing object.

This is a discussion on Rules are failing from a missing object. within the Microsoft Exchange forums in Microsoft Tools category; Here it is 3 days before we convert to Exchange 2007 and I have a single user with a rules problem. Every time he opens Outlook and tries to go to the rules he gets the error "The operation failed. An object could not be found." We've tried this on different PCs and with both Oulook 2003 and Outlook 2007. That tells me the problem is on the server, but how do I fix this? Will it affect the mailbox move this weekend? -- Bettie...

Try starting OL from the command line with the /cleanrules switch.
Outlook.exe /cleanrules

Office 2000 workstation and deleted all the rules. I am saving your response
