| Here it is 3 days before we convert to Exchange 2007 and I have a single user with a rules problem. Every time he opens Outlook and tries to go to the rules he gets the error "The operation failed. An object could not be found." We've tried this on different PCs and with both Oulook 2003 and Outlook 2007. That tells me the problem is on the server, but how do I fix this? Will it affect the mailbox move this weekend? -- Bettie |

| Try starting OL from the command line with the /cleanrules switch. Outlook.exe /cleanrules "Bettie Claxton" <BettieClaxton@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3048D01F-66EA-42B9-B6C7-B33E4121C1E3@microsoft.com... > Here it is 3 days before we convert to Exchange 2007 and I have a single > user > with a rules problem. | Thank you. Unfortunately by the time I got to thi,s the user had gone to a Office 2000 workstation and deleted all the rules. I am saving your response becuase it will probably be useful in the future. Thanks again. -- Bettie "Martin Blackstone [MVP]" wrote: > Try starting OL from the command line with the /cleanrules switch. > Outlook.exe /cleanrules > > "Bettie Claxton" <BettieClaxton@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:3048D01F-66EA-42B9-B6C7-B33E4121C1E3@microsoft.com... > > Here it is 3 days before we convert to Exchange 2007 and I have a single > > user > > with a rules problem.
