| I have a few users stuck on my old Exchange 2000 server until I can work out some Blackberry glitches with the new Exchange 2007 Sp1 server. The size limit for a message was 5MB on the old server and is 10 MB on the new server. One file that must be sent everyday is apparently right on the edge of the 5MB limit. When the file is mailed to people on the old server, they receive it, but people on the new server do not and the sender gets a sys admin message that the file is too big. Yesterday I went into global settings/message delivery and set the defaults to no limits. This morning we tested and the file still did not go through. Do I need to change something else? Do I need to reboot the old server? Any help appreciated. -- Bettie |

| any limits on connectors or on individual mailboxes? if you trace the message, how far does it get? the NDR might tell you where the limitation is set... -- Susan Conkey [MVP] "Bettie Claxton" <BettieClaxton@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:91ADE4AE-4496-40B9-AD58-9C53497ED521@microsoft.com... >I have a few users stuck on my old Exchange 2000 server until I can work >out > some Blackberry glitches with the new Exchange 2007 Sp1 server. | Good thinking! I traced the problem down to the transport settings on the 2007 Exchange server where most of the recipients are. While in general the message size was set to 10MB on the 2007 one, the transport was limited to 5MB. Thanks for your suggestions. -- Bettie "Susan" wrote: > any limits on connectors or on individual mailboxes? if you trace the > message, how far does it get? the NDR might tell you where the limitation > is set... > > -- > Susan Conkey [MVP] > > > > "Bettie Claxton" <BettieClaxton@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:91ADE4AE-4496-40B9-AD58-9C53497ED521@microsoft.com... > >I have a few users stuck on my old Exchange 2000 server until I can work > >out > > some Blackberry glitches with the new Exchange 2007 Sp1 server.
