How to add Multiple Online Accounts from same online broker?
Hi All:
I have two different accounts, with two different logins, etc., but with the
same broker. When I try to add the 2nd account, for automatic online
synchronization, the broker's name no longer appears in the list of available
online brokers? It's as though Money figures there can only be one account
per broker. How can I add the 2nd account?
Thanks!

Ev,
Which version of Money are you using and what is the brokerage in question?
Try any suggestions you get here on a copy of your Money file.
Something that you might try is to stop using online services for that
particular brokerage and then try setting the two accounts up again.
To do so, from your "Account list" page under Common tasks on the left
panel, click on Manage online services.
There you should see a list of the banks or brokerages that you have set up
for online services. Click on the one in question. On the following
page under Use online services, click on Stop using online services.
The one caveat, Money may no longer support online services for the
brokerage in question. That may be why its not listed. So by stopping
online services, you may not be able to set up either of the accounts again.
Let us know how you make out.
Hope this helps
-Kevin

RE: How to add Multiple Online Accounts from same online broker?
Thanks Kevin. It turns out that Money 2007 does recognize the brokerage
more than once . . . .IF I spell the brokers name correctly (It had initials
in the front, which I inadvertantly omitted the 2nd time around!

I just rename the bank for each account. For example Vanguard #1,Vanguard #2
and so on.Let it search for the bank. Now you can have a different
username/password for multiple accounts at a given brokerage.
