| Are you attempting to set up Direct Connect with B of A? Have you signed up for it and received a UserID and password? Are you paying for this or is it free because you have direct deposit? Provide a little more detail. At this point I am unsure if you're attempting to sync via MSN sync or Direct Connect -- I'm not clear as to whether you know what the difference is. Please provide in detail what you've attempted so far. | Sort of, but not really. That's the option you choose for Direct Connect. If you syncing via Yodlee, you would select CA. Direct Connect is different, and involves a monthly fee (or free with direct deposit). The instructions you receive from B of A (CA) after signing up for Direct Connect instruct the user to select 'All except CA, WA, & ID' -- you're then prompted to enter the B of A 'credentials' provided. Further questions? Contact customer care for B of A (CA) online services. | They're the same -- but -- you have to be 'activated' for direct connect, you can only do this by calling online services customer care (not regular customer care). It's rather confusing, as direct connect isn't available for B of A accounts in WA so I'm not sure why they're lumped together like that. I actually live in WA, but opened my B of A checking in CA so that I could use direct connect. Once you're activated for direct connect, you can use it with Quicken or Money, but not both. You can switch between the 2 yourself online once you have it, but you must initially set it up by calling. | This link might be of some assistance, it's what comes up when you opt to 'request sign in information' from the Money 'add account' screen: https://sitekey.bankofamerica.com/sa...=MODEL&req=MON "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup@please.tnx> wrote in message news vbqb3lld8ilakimd6d2br5k2lkei62j4p@4ax.com...> When you got set up for that direct connection, did BoA provide you > with different login credentials than you would use to access via > web site? |

Is there some special process >required to link a California BOFA account to Money 2007? There have been some recent changes in the Bank of America statement download area: From http://www.microsoft.com/money/banko...e=BanksOnly#14 there are 3 choices now shown. Here is a bit of a translation/explanation: Bank of America (All except CA, WA, & ID) Explanation: Direct OFX for whole country; may require monthly fee or meet extra criteria. Bank of America (CA) Explanation: Yodlee usable for all except (WA & ID) Bank of America (WA & ID) Explanation: Yodlee for (WA & ID) only You might want to re-read other posts on this thread for some tips. |

| It's a little misleading, as CA isn't listed 100% correctly. According to the list, CA uses Yodlee. Yes, it does, but it also links up directly to B of A for both transaction download and billpay. Once you sign up for the service, the instructions you receive tell you to select the 'all except CA, WA, & ID' option. The instructions are correct, as this works and gets the direct hook-up going -- but it doesn't make sense.
