Default help with Investment Accounts...

Hello,

I'm currently using MS Money 2002 (v10) and am looking for assistance with
an investment account. I have just setup a RRSP plan with my bank where x
number of dollars will transferred into my two portfolios every month. I
can easily set it up in Money to transfer the funds to the RRSP account,
which shows up as a cash deposit. This in itself is fine but I'm not sure
how to change that cash deposit to an investment transaction to show how
many units were purchased in each portfolio. All of this investment/RRSP
stuff is new to me so perhaps I'm just overlooking something?

I also have a second question which may be better off suited to it's own
post as it's completely unrelated to the above, but I will start here
anyways... I have just received a corporate credit card through work and
want to be able to keep track of this in Money but I would like it to not
show up in the reports and what-not. Is there a way to keep it "hidden"
from all other activities? I'm guessing my best bet would be to create a
separate money file for it, but though I would ask to see if anyone had any
ideas.

TIA,

Greg

Enter a Buy or units into the Investment Transactions register for
the account.

Reports can be Customized to exclude accounts.

Thanks Cal. You got me pointed in the right direction. I can't quite buy
or enter the units right away as I will have no idea how many were purchased
or at what price until I receive a statement (or perhaps check online). So
what I've ended up doing was just setting up a transfer of cash to the
investment's cash "account", and will then be able to update the
prices/units when my statement arrives.
