| I regularly balance the cash transactions associated with my investments accounts. I noticed that when I look at the related investment transactions, they don't show as reconciled. Nor did I see a way to balance the actual investment transactions. I'm assuming this is by design but wanted to make certain. Is there a way to balance investment holdings? |

When you download from a direct OFX connection broker, then Money compares your holdings to what the statement says you hold. It will offer to adjust your holdings to match the statement. Usually it is best to note the discrepancy, and say no to Money's offer to adjust your holdings If you want to turn on the R in the C column, Ctrl+Shift+M can do that. But there is no balancing in the way there is in the cash transactions. |
