Hi all,

N. Wirth has written a report entitled "From Modula to Oberon".
Does anyone know of a similar document (by N. Wirth) that describes the
differences between Pascal and Modula?

Modula-2 for Pascal Programmers , Richard Gleaves,
Springer-Verlag,1984

Not by N. Wirth but still an excellent resource.

Thanks for the tip. What I really want to know though is the motivation
behind each feature addition/removal in Modula compared to Pascal.

In Best Of Byte Volume 1, avail on the byte website, is an article
"History and Goals of Modula-2" by N Wirth. I think Byte charges $5 for
the .pdf. It sounds like this is what you want.
