Re: read/write a mumps globals from java

This is a discussion on Re: read/write a mumps globals from java within the mumps forums in Programming Languages category; Hi Mooket, I believe the answer for you is "depends on wich mumps implementation you are using". The data adapter you pointed works only with DSM, Caché has a native way to do it if you are using caché objects, MSM has MSM-Activate/java, etc. Some mumps implementations have ways to map the global into tables. In this case you problably will find a JDBC driver (or at least odbc) available. Hope this helps, Luiz Papa "mooket" <member33638 @ dbforums.com> escreveu na mensagem news:3126644.1058540248 @ dbforums.com... > > Hi everyone ! > > Is there anyone who already tried to read/write ...

Hi Mooket,

I believe the answer for you is "depends on wich mumps implementation you
are using". The data adapter you pointed works only with DSM, Caché has a
native way to do it if you are using caché objects, MSM has
MSM-Activate/java, etc.

Some mumps implementations have ways to map the global into tables. In this
case you problably will find a JDBC driver (or at least odbc) available.

Hope this helps,
Luiz Papa
