The OCX can be linked to some VBA 'programs' and establishes the connection with the M3 server either via network or as localhost. M3 should provide the necessary broker using the IPConnect entry in the the config.ini file of M3. If you want to control MSExcell from M3, things are a bit more complicated (You will need some kind of "IP serverlike-DDE encapsulation" around your Excell.......).
