DBMS Query (Interactive vs .com Job) : mumps

We would like to make the com jobs. Many of the current jobs are using a field delimiter and are using double quotes ("") to fence fields. Is there a way to pass these parameters in a com job? Rewriting the existing process to handle a fixed format field would be massive....
