page display

This is a discussion on page display within the Mutt forums in Other Technologies category; Ok, elm user converting to mutt...running usually on Solaris. some of my email contains form feeds, output from "amanda" mostly. elm would paint the page from the top of the window when I hit a <FF> and mutt is displaying the control character for me. How to I get mutt to interpret rather than display imbedded control characters ? thanks, Brian --- Brian R Cuttler brian.cuttler@wadsworth.org Computer Systems Support (v) 518 486-1697 Wadsworth Center (f) 518 473-6384 NYS Department of Health Help Desk 518 473-0773...

Default page display

Ok, elm user converting to mutt...running usually on Solaris.

some of my email contains form feeds, output from "amanda" mostly.
elm would paint the page from the top of the window when I hit a <FF>
and mutt is displaying the control character for me.

How to I get mutt to interpret rather than display imbedded control characters ?

thanks,

Brian

Define a $pager that interprets the imbedded control characters. See
section 6.3 of the manual.
