| Hello Friends! I edit my headers right in vim before sending When I turn the header this way: From: "Peter \"Nickname\" Vereshagin" <petr999@mail.ru> the sending dialogue strips my quotes and nickname too. I type <e> in send-menu and see: From: Peter Vereshagin <petr999@mail.ru> How could I get rid of this behavior? Thanks. -- http://raigra.km.ru |

Would you like to suggest me reason not to follow this manual.txt sentence: === set realname="Michael \"MuttDude\" Elkins" === May be some standard like RFC? -- http://raigra.km.ru |

Would you > like to suggest me reason not to follow this manual.txt sentence: > set realname="Michael \"MuttDude\" Elkins" Just tried -- at least with Mutt 1.5.6i (patch-1.5.6.dw.multiple-crypt-hook.2 patch-1.5.6.dw.confirm-crypt-hook.1 patch-1.5.6.dw.crypt-autoselectkey.1 patch-1.5.6.dw.pgp-menu-traditional.2 vvv.quote 1.3.28.nr.threadcomplete vvv.initials rr.compressed) and Mutt 1.3.25i "set realname" works. When you change From: header manually, Mutt removes \". Looks like a bug. Repeat by: 1. ~/.muttrc: set realname='A "B" C' 2. create a test message, From: header is still "A \"B\" C" <...> 3. change "From:" header to "A \"B\" D" <...> From: header is now A B D <...> |
