Mutt: Pending flag (as control if mails have been answered) possible ?

Hello,

is there a way to have Mutt sent mails marked in some way as
"pending" as long as no "re" (not answer) has been returned/
received? Or is something like that on the to do list?

well, unmarking the marked mails should be performed automatically
upon receiving a re/answer....

No, and not as far as I'm aware. Sorry. Feel free to submit a wishlist bug,
preferably with an attached patch. ;-)
