| My question here is whether my problem is a bug in mutt(1), the esmtp MTA or the MS Exchange server... I am unable to bounce email from my laptop, because the original Sender: header is retained, and the MS Exchange server refuses to accept email with a foreign Sender:. I use esmtp as MTA, which connects to exchange via SMPTS. Should mutt or esmtp have removed the original Sender:, or is it correct to retain it and Exchange should have accepted it? Secondly, is it possible to reconfigure mutt and/or esmptrc to drop this header when a message is bounced? I will be grateful for any pointers. You might insert a filter in $sendmail as wrapper before/ around your real MTA to manipulate it however you want. -- © Rado S. -- You must provide YOUR effort for your goal!
