| Hi, Mutt newbie here; please bear with me. Guys, I have been using GUI email clients for years (mostly Mozilla Thunderbird lately) but am sick of GUI's, etc. I really like Mutt and would love to be able to switch to it completely. I have setup my first IMAP email account, using TLS/SSL and all is fine. Crime of crimes and blasphemy, I also installed ssmtp and use that package to send emails using smtp authentication, etc. Reason I used ssmtp was for simplicity's sake (as a newbie). I do have sendmail, procmail and postfix installed or can obviously get the packages but I still don't know how to configure them; and figured I should tackle the Mutt beast 1 step at a time. So, my question is: I would like to be able to see ALL of my IMAP accounts in Mutt--I use several personal and business email accounts and have not figured out at all how to do that. I have searched Google, asked in the irc group and the only option I have found so far is: <http://www.acoustics.hut.fi/~mara/mutt/muttprofile.html> Before putting in the time to decipher that page and instructions--which believe me is not easy for a newbie at Mutt [and Linux for that matter], I wanted to check with you and see what was recommended to accomplish what I need: Using Mutt with 10+ IMAP email accounts. I also read something about folder hooks (?) but not sure at all which is easiest most convenient to setup. Thanks for your help. -- Mandriva Free 2008.1 (X86_64) KDE - zsh |

Have a look at the wiki -> guide -> imap, see also UserStories imap related. -- © Rado S. -- You must provide YOUR effort for your goal! EVERY effort counts: at least to show your attitude.
