mutt and offlineimap: how to skip old messages

This is a discussion on mutt and offlineimap: how to skip old messages within the Mutt forums in Other Technologies category; Hi folks, I use mutt in conjunction with offlineimap. Is it possible to tell offlineimap to fetch only messages that are older than a certain date? There are options to exclude folders, but I have not yet encountered any temporal switches.
