Default Question about mutt and IMAP

Hello,

I am newbie to text based email world. But hypnotized these tools.
So far I was using Thunderbird and fascinated by mutt ans started
using it. I liked this email client. This is fast and gives lot many
features. My Mail server is M$ Exchange and I am using Ubuntu 7.10 on
my workstation.
my questions are
1. How do I store emails sent in server's sent-items folder
2. If I use fetchmail to download all emails locally, how do my
procmail recipe works on remote servers INBOX. For example, I want to
copy all cron job results ~/Maildir/cron folder
and delete it from server but mails of my colleague I want to
download a copy of it and I DO NOT want to delete it from server. so
that I can read again that email from home.
Please Help me

Thank You,

A source-code patch has been published on mutt-dev list, check the
list-archive, linked from homepage.
Maybe a simple macro could help you, too.

I don't know this is possible: keep some, others not.
AFAIK it's all or nothing.

I don't understand why a patch is required. Mutt has had the
"record" configuration varible for decades.

Argh, my bad, I mistook this to mean "how to use 'sendmail'-feature
of certain IMAP servers'. So ignore my response.

Jagadeesh, instead follow the link to muttguide -> folders in my
other post.

You know that gMail will filter for you? The labels will look like
folders|boxes. Works great here.
