Subject starting with "=?UTF-8?Q?..."

This is a discussion on Subject starting with "=?UTF-8?Q?..." within the Mutt forums in Other Technologies category; Hello, what can I do that mutt translate subjects starting with "=?UTF-8? Default Subject starting with "=?UTF-8?Q?..."

Hello,

what can I do that mutt translate subjects starting with "=?UTF-8?
Q?..." to latin1? Mostly the encoded chars are german umlauts which
could be properly displayed in my "de_DE@euro" environment.

Using a de_DE.UTF-8 locale instead should do.
