send error

This is a discussion on send error within the Mutt forums in Other Technologies category; Dear all, As a new mutt user, I tried to configure and use mutt however there is a subtle problem, I guess related to sendmail but not sure. I am using sendmail to send mails on an smtp server but getting Bad hop count (smtp.tudelft.nl) Error sending message, child exited 64 (Bad usage.). I could not find a good list of errors explaining the reasons of these kinds of errors with the codes listed aside, pointers appreciated as well. Getting mails is ok. But sending is a problem as mentioned above. Any ideas to help me on this. Best, Umut...
