| I'd like to have in abook some lists to use them with Mutt: A single name with more e-mail addresses. So I can chose that name and send mail to all addresses grouped under that name. However, in abook I'm able to refer to a name only 2 or 3 addresses, the following one are truncated. Is there anything to put in abookrc to create these distribution lists? Thanx MS |

Probably better to ask in a list or group specific for abook, if there is one, rather than mutt. But as far as I know, there isn't a way to do what you ask with abook. Only thing that may work is to have an entry in abook where the email address field is a list of comma separated email addresses. Haven't tried it but that may work. You can do it with mutt alias files. -- Troy Piggins | http://piggo.com/~troy _ /|/ |\__/ Oo, ( \\ D Mutt 1.5.18 (with rr.compressed & vvv.nntp patches) L\-\L`\/| |

If you have more addresses separated by comma, abook creates different entry, one for each address. If u separe the addresses by semicolon in abook, mutt send the email to all addresses. Only, if you put in abook too many addresses, only the first ones work correctly. The last ones are truncated. > You can do it with mutt alias files. Yes, so I think I use them. However, it would be nice if this possibility were implemented in abook.... Thanx M. |

The last ones are truncated. Oh. As I said, I hadn't tried it. Just thinking out aloud. >> You can do it with mutt alias files. > > Yes, so I think I use them.
