| My email address is not the same as my login id. Is there a parameter in .muttrc that I can set to specify the From: address in replies? Thanks. |

Have you checked man muttrc? There is a "from" variable. Put something like this in your .muttrc: set from username@emailaddress.invalid From the man page: from Type: e-mail address Default: “” When set, this variable contains a default from address. It can be overridden using my_hdr (including from send-hooks) and “$reverse_name”. This variable is ignored if “$use_from” is unset. Defaults to the contents of the environment variable EMAIL. -- Troy Piggins | http://piggo.com/~troy _ /|/ |\__/ Oo, ( \\ D Mutt 1.5.18 (with rr.compressed & vvv.nntp patches) L\-\L`\/| |

Now, in 1998 it takes the Power of a Pentium II to run Microsoft Windows 98. Somewhere, something must have gone wrong. |
