| I like a package I saw a couple of years ago. You fed in the tree diameter, length, and it would give you the optimal cutting pattern for getting the most useable lumber from the log... whoops... I use sitemeter. It's doesn't analyze your log, but rather tracks your hits on its servers. A good variey of views of the data. -- - Al Raden http://www.brandydesigns.com "Leroy Schulz" <sadesign@email.com> wrote in message news:at2n88$qbd2@news01.netobjects.com... > What do you guys like? > > Thanks, > [L] > > |

| WebTrends is the industry big boy... Urchin makes a nice package.... Analog is typically found with most entry level hosting plans... mmr "BrandyDesigns" <araden@brandyspammenotdesigns.com> wrote in news:3df4e59f$1_1@news.gotfusion.com: > I like a package I saw a couple of years ago. From the looks of it Sitemeter requires you to, right? Any others? What kind of budget are you looking at? If you want to go all out... http://www.netiq.com/products/wrc/default.asp Starts at $3500 (up to $10,500) plus requires a support plan (minimum 18% of purchase price). They also have an even higher version, WebTrends Intelligence Suite, which is a "please call so we can gently reveal the incredibly high price to you" product. For a comprehensive hosted service: http://www.netiq.com/products/wtl/default.asp This one's $35/month (plus usage) and provides a decent level of reporting. I don't have direct experience with WebTrends, but they've been around for quite some time and apprently know what they're doing in the stats reporting business. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Blake Kadatz - BitMotion Software Inc. - http://www.bitmotion.com |

| Budget, what's that? <g> I downloaded the trial at www.123loganalyzer.com and liked it, but was trying to avoid the $129 cost. Now compared to $3500... [L] |

There's always these pair: http://www.analog.cx http://www.reportmagic.org Both are completely free (Report Magic works with Analog to make its output look prettier), requires a bit of knowledge to setup (though it's really not that difficult) and can either be run on your web server automatically or on your local workstation after downloading the server log files. I think that'll fit in the budget. ![]() -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Blake Kadatz - BitMotion Software Inc. - http://www.bitmotion.com |
