First I want to apologize to the group for cross posting in my frustration
over getting NOF7 updated. I'm Sorry!

The Subject Line represents the error message I had received after
installation of NOF7 on a pristine Windows 2000 Professional workstation.
Fact 1.
After several attempts at loading and reloading the NOF7 application ( 3
times and downloading twice), I discovered that the DIRECTORY
H:\NetObjectsFusion 7\FSITemp\ was not being created (or created) during the
initial install or subsequent use of the product.
Fact 2.
Since the H:\NetObjectsFusion 7\FSITemp\ directory didn't exist. The
Update.html nor the Updater application file would ever be found.
Fact 3.
I had completely uninstalled ALL versions of NOF and removed all files and
anything related to NOF prior to my diagnostic process. The removal was done
using NOF uninstall and then manually removing the remaining files as
indicated in the uninstall process.

My Solution
Fresh install of NOF4, then installed the Trial Version of NOF7. Received
same error message at this point. Went to the destination drive. In my case
H:, and created the directory structure NOF was looking for (H:\Net Objects
Fusion 7\FSITemp). I then went into the H:\Net Objects Fusion
7\FSIUpdater\Updater directory and copied the two files Update.html and
Updater.exe into the previously manually created directory : H:\Net Objects
Fusion 7\FSITemp. I then restarted NOF7 and went to the Check for Update
option. It ERASED my previously created directory (H:\Net Objects Fusion
7\FSITemp). I minimized NOF7 and recreated the directory structure, and
copied the two previously mentioned files into the directory. Maximized the
NOF7 application. While still in NOF7, I ran the Update option again. This
time it worked. Somewhere in this process I entered my valid registration
serial number.

Additionally.
The problem also presented itself when trying to install to Drive C: as
well. So, the argument that a weird uncommon Drive letter impacted the
install wouldn't be the case.

Conclusion
I'm fairly sure that my case is not the only one like this. The solution
I present is "Kluged" at best, but worked. I'm not even sure how one would
go about documenting this more distinctly. I just hope that this solution
might work for someone else in the future.

Good thing I've been working with computers for over 20 years! I may now be
a farmer, but I've had other careers. Web development, software program
development, project management and the use of NOF Version 2 on up included.
A two day preliminary web development project for my farm can be found at
http://www.joyner-ranch.com using the NOF7 , Bit Motion, and WebSite Pros
products.

Thanks Tyson Couch for your attempt at helping me. I appreciate your efforts
and time, and once again apologize for the cross-post.

You folks have a great product as usual, and as you can see from my 28 page
preliminary site built in two days. The product works as advertised!

Not sure what would have caused that, unless you were not logged on as
administrator?
