| For some reason my .mod file doesn't work anymore. Unfortunately it will no loger be accepted into 7.5 at all and causes the program to crash. Does anyone know how to repair a .mod file? Are their any extensions out there? Thanks |

| ..nod If you have a backup folder, check in their for the nearest date file, and try to open that one. If you get it open, make a save and export as template (this is the preferred method of backing up work). | Thanks Chris, I have found the back up file, but when I open it, it's missing the pics and links. I am fortunate to have published it prior to crashing. If I save it as a template, and then import it back into NOF, will the pics and links be there? Perhaps I've done this all wrong from the start. Thanks in advance. | you can't just open a backup file, you must first copy and paste it from the backup folder to the root, then it will open with all images intact for best results, rename the corrupt file to -old then copy paste the backup file to root then rename the backup so it gets its original name then open as usual if it fails, use the next oldest backup and repeat the steps above if it fails, use the next oldest backup and repeat the steps above if it fails, use the next oldest backup and repeat the steps above if it fails, use the next oldest backup and repeat the steps above -- Anton Strauss www.videoproductions.com.au "Robert" <rburnie@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:ciot8n$gsh6@news01.netobjects.com... > Thanks Chris, > I have found the back up file, but when I open it, it's missing the pics and > links. > > I am fortunate to have published it prior to crashing.
