Hi Mike,
I know where to find the password, but I need to retrieve it somehow.
I published it with NOF and still can, but now I need the password
retrieved for use with ftp-programm.
I don't feel like calling my isp now, but if I can't retrieve it from NOF
I maybe have to.

Check Google for password recovery programs. I tried to use Snadboy
Revelation, but it could not recover in NOF. It is good in a lot of other
programs.

Rats - I didn't realsise that.

To be honest Nancy, I've never tried. I keep all my software on a server
along with all the passwords (copied from the CD/DVD into separate folders)
this then gets backed up onto another hot backup system and the passwords
are also kept on paper (normally).

Sorry everyone - nice prog but obviously not for NOF. Maybe I should have
tried it first but, then again, it's always worked when I've needed it in
the past for other things. Guess it may be useful to folks but not for this
specific task. Have to keep looking.

Like you I keep my serial numbers and server passwords in several places but
the handiest system for me is to write client & server info on removable
cards and file them in my telephone rolodex. Finger tip access saves a lot
of time.
