| You would think that after 10 versions and many minor versions, some effort would be made to improve the FTP support in the product. I am soo tired of having the "end process" this program because the FTP transfer gets hung for whatever reason. I never have these issues with Dreamweaver or Frontpage or Visual Web Developer. |

| I use the built-in FTP almost exclusively and have since Fusion 3. The only time I've encountered a problem was when passive mode was on or off incorrectly for the server being contacted. -- Chuck Joslin BeyondFusion.com - Your Fusion Community www.beyondfusion.com Register domain names at www.awavedomains.com "Jon Glazer" <jglazer.deleteme@adconn.com> wrote in message news:evr53r$3cg1@flsun90netnews01.netobjects.com.. . > You would think that after 10 versions and many minor versions, some > effort would be made to improve the FTP support in the product. It's Ver. 4 for me. I've used it thousands of times & I've maybe had half a dozen lockups. I've had as many with WS_FTP & CuteFTP. Don't know about the details of what your server is looking for, but I think you'll find that if you get the settings right, it'll work fine. | It works about 80% of the time. But when it doesn't its a total lock-up and I have to kill the app via task manager. <Widman> wrote in message news:1_84_9362@gfwebforum.com... >I think it is connection related. from here even Filezilla gives up >eventually sometimes. > > Richard Widman > www.widman.biz > Bolivia > > On Sat, Apr 14 2007 2:33 pm, "Garret Mott" > <Garret_at_AutoMateSoftware_dot_com> said: >>>I use the built-in FTP almost exclusively and have since Fusion 3. >>> >>> The only time I've encountered a problem was when passive mode was on or >>> off incorrectly for the server being contacted. >> >>It's Ver. 4 for me.
