I've got a NO 7.5 site using Header, Left and Body frames. How can I get metatags to stay in the auto-generted index.html file..? -- Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "A lack of common sense is now considered a disability, with all the privileges that this entails."

That's nice, but how would I get the left side links to stay put..? -- Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "A lack of common sense is now considered a disability, with all the privileges that this entails." |

Larry, The notion that links need to be visible at all times was popular in the early 90's. It is not expected web behavior these days. Ditch the frames. Allow site visitors to use their browser scrollbar as intended. --Nancy O. Is there a "floating" links block component that'll work with NOF 7.X..? -- Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "A lack of common sense is now considered a disability, with all the privileges that this entails."

Larry.... lose the frames. Whether you buy it or not, it's in the best interests of the site. Frames are so early '90s. If you want navigation to always be displayed, use a floating DHTML menu creating in something like AllWebMenus. -- Chuck Joslin BeyondFusion.com - Your Fusion Community www.beyondfusion.com Register domain names at www.awavedomains.com "Larry in AZ" <usenet2@DELETE.THISljvideo.com> wrote in message news:Xns9ACD739A41C71thefrogprince@64.69.219.46... > Waiving the right to remain silent, "Nancy O" <nancyoshea1@NOSPAMatt.net> > said: > >> Larry, >> The notion that links need to be visible at all times was popular in the >> early 90's. Thanks, I'll look for that. Would upgrading to NOF 10 or 11 give me such capability built-in..? -- Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "A lack of common sense is now considered a disability, with all the privileges that this entails."

No... no built-in floating menus in 10 or 11. You can see AWM in action at www.theedgetiedye.com. Go to one of the department pages and see the photo of the young lady scrolling. That's done with AWM. -- Chuck Joslin BeyondFusion.com - Your Fusion Community www.beyondfusion.com Register domain names at www.awavedomains.com "Larry in AZ" <usenet2@DELETE.THISljvideo.com> wrote in message news:Xns9ACD8815E7BFAthefrogprince@64.69.219.46... > Waiving the right to remain silent, Chuck «BeyondFusion» > <supportno@spambeyondfusion.com> said: > >> Larry.... lose the frames. >> >> Whether you buy it or not, it's in the best interests of the site. >> >> Frames are so early '90s. >> >> If you want navigation to always be displayed, use a floating DHTML menu >> creating in something like AllWebMenus. > > Thanks, I'll look for that. > > Would upgrading to NOF 10 or 11 give me such capability built-in..? > > -- > Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail > > "A lack of common sense is now considered a disability, > with all the privileges that this entails."
