Default Forms Handler and Secure Components appear as Icons/Pictures

Just updated my Website only to discover that the various forms I had used
to handle contact emails and the Secure Components I used for the secure
section of the site have stopped working.

I get no errors messages. In all cases, the NOF components just show as the
place holder icon that you see when in design mode in NetObjects. The
changes I made just added new gallery pages, they did not involve any of the
pages with these components on.

I have already tried publishing the entire site locally and using an FTP
transfer program to upload to the web host.
Web Site: www.nottspolicepipeband.co.uk

Any ideas as to what has gone wrong?

Thanks,

Jeff

It looks OK to me in IE and Firefox Jeff.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

Andy

Thanks for response.
Yes - tried clearing out browser cache - made no difference. Then I rebooted
my machine and immediately published changes only and it started working.
Net result is I'm not sure if it was the web site which was wrong or my
machine/browser.
Still it seems ok now so I guess it's something to try if anything similar
happens in future.

I've seen similar 'frozen state' occurrences when using Secure Components..
It seems to me that NOF is a bit of a memory hog and doesn't like when other
programs are using up RAM.
It gives you no warnings or error messages - it just 'freezes'. I've
usually been able to work around it by
killing every other program (sometimes processes with Ctrl-Alt-Del) to free
up RAM
