| Hi Experts, Whenever I put an HTML coded banner or scrolling text box on a page, ( by creating a text box and inserting the HTML code into it ) an approx 1/8th inch space appears above and beneath it, which makes it impossible to place other objects vertically close to it and spolis the required equidistant Webpage spacing layout. Whether the object is placed on the open page or in a table .. the effect is always the same. Is there any way of removing this blank spacing .. which seems to be automaticallly generated by NOF 9 and all versions of NOF used to date .. or another way of inserting these types of objects ? Thank you in advance for any suggestions ... Cheers David |

| I've run in to this when using tables and found that unchecking the "generate non-breaking spaces" option and setting margins and padding to 0 solves the problem. Hope this helps, Janice "David" <noreply@ntlworld.com> wrote in message news:gcd2tg$5sk1@flsun90netnews01.netobjects.com.. . > Hi Experts, > > Whenever I put an HTML coded banner or scrolling text box on a page, ( by > creating a text box and inserting the HTML code into it ) an approx 1/8th > inch space appears above and beneath it, which makes it impossible to > place other objects vertically close to it and spolis the required > equidistant Webpage spacing layout. > > Whether the object is placed on the open page or in a table .. the effect > is always the same. > > Is there any way of removing this blank spacing .. which seems to be > automaticallly generated by NOF 9 and all versions of NOF used to date .. > or another way of inserting these types of objects ? > > Thank you in advance for any suggestions ... > > Cheers > > David > |

| Many thanks for your suggestion Janice, sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I do understand the effect which can occur in tables, but this happens both inside and outside tables on the page itself. Has anyone any other ideas please ?
